Intermediate Riders

“A rider who has a firm seat, is confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly,” is considered an intermediate.

You have a great array of rides to choose from once you have met these criteria. All of our trips include much more riding than most anyone is used to in our normal daily life – several hours a day several days in a row – so do be prepared to likely deal with some muscle soreness! However, if you’re prepared for that and confident in your skills in riding at all paces you can choose from most of all our options. The African Explorer in South Africa and Botswana is a great introduction to an African safari. Or go to Europe and enjoy a coastal ride in Ireland on the Donegal from the Saddle ride, or experience the unique culture of Hungary at the Homoki Lodge. Travel around the world to Japan and see the Cherry Blossom festival, or ride on the beaches of New Zealand. With a solid riding foundation your options are almost endless!
