Deposits collected to confirm bookings are not refundable or transferable. Final payment is due 45 days before the trip begins and 50% of that final payment will be refunded if cancellation notice is given 31 days or more before the trip begins. Travel insurance should be purchased from an independent provider at the time of booking, as Equitours does not guarantee any further refund. No refund will be given for cancellations 30 days and under.

Deposits:
The deposit amount varies with the cost of the ride, as outlined below. There are some exceptions where a greater deposit is necessary due to our partners’ policies and you will be informed as to the required amount at the time of booking.
- $600 per person for rides under $2000
- $800 per person for rides between $2000 and $5000
- $1,200 per person for rides over $5000
- For rides over $3000, a second deposit of $1000 is required four months before the trip
- Custom Rides: A deposit of 50% of the cost of the ride is due at the time of booking, and it may not be possible to refund any portion of the final payment
Promptly after receiving your deposit, we will email you a booking confirmation: detailed information about the ride including packing suggestions and meeting point details.
Prices
The prices listed on this website are in U.S. dollars, and are based on double occupancy. We reserve the right to adjust prices when circumstances beyond our control — like fluctuating exchange rates — cause significant changes in the prices. We guarantee the ride price at the time you pay the deposit.
Tier Pricing
On some rides we have created a tier system of pricing, in which the price is dependent on the number of riders. The deposit and invoice for final payment is calculated based on the higher price. When the group size is finalized 30 days before the trip begins, any applicable refunds will be issued.
Single Supplement
The price for each ride is based on shared occupancy. The availability and necessity of paying a single supplement varies from ride to ride. If you are traveling solo and wish to share accommodations, we make every effort to find a roommate (always of the same gender). On some rides if you are willing to share and no roommate materializes, the single supplement is not required. On other rides the single supplement is required for anyone who does not have a roommate. A single supplement is always required for participants who specifically request single accommodations.
Non-rider Companions
Non-rider companions are welcome on many of the riding holidays. The price, logistics, and non-riding activities vary from ride to ride. Call us for details and suggested destinations.
Privacy Policy
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
